What started out as a unique marriage between food trucks and technology transformed into amazing food vendors of all types who now call The Kitchen DSM their home. These members of The Kitchen include caterers, aspiring restaurant owners, guest chefs and food truck operators.
As Iowa's only food and beverage hall, we will continue to bring you new and exciting menu offerings provided by the Members of The Kitchen. The new state-of-the-art kitchen allows all of its members to explore new levels of culinary creativity.
Eclectic, delicious and fresh, the food at The Hall will satisfy your taste buds and spark conversations. Perhaps you’ll bond over Belgian waffles? Or better yet, fall in love over pizza pies.

The World is Our Oyster
The launching of The Kitchen DSM has opened the doors for unparalleled culinary offerings. We have a few more vendors to announce this summer as well as plans for guest chef nights and foodie fundraisers for The Justice League of Food. Here are the current members of The Kitchen DSM owned by The Justice League of Food. 10% of all food sales always go to the JLF to help fund its mission of skills training and job placement services for Opportunity Youth.
DieHalle is the newest vendor at The Hall. This is classic German Bier Hall fare - Schnitzels, Giant Pretzels, Bratwurst, Weisswurst, Knackwurst, Nurnberger Brats and Currywurst round out the menu. Schweinhaxen is known to hit the menu on special nights. Everything on this menu pays homage to authentic German cuisine. The sausages are the best we've ever had and are sourced from the Bavarian Sausage Co. in Madison Wisconsin.
FoodWorks Burgers has redefined burgers at The Hall. 1/2 pound ground prime rib patties for the big appetites grilled medium and served on a Brioche bun. Burgers range from the standard All American to the Queso Burger. Want something really special order the Wytowski (its a Reuben on a burger).
The Kids in The Hall are growing up. The latest incarnation of the student team led by Chef Gabe Stielow is known as FoodWorks Pub Fare. This is a gastropub menu including: Wings, Chicken Bacon Avocado, Tenderloins, Pizza Loins, Chicken Tenders, Paninis, Onion Rings, Fried Brussel Sprouts and the best queso in town. Get a taste of what foodies call “irrationally delicious pizza” from 515 Pi. Using hand pressed dough and the freshest ingredients, each inspired pizza is fired fast to order and served bubbling hot. Pizza Meister Brad Bormann was the first in the nation to put an 850 degree Woodstone oven in a truck. Why you ask - cuz they said it couldn't be done.
